-
- THANK YOU for trying TAPCIS. This is a trial version of the
- complete TAPCIS program and documentation. Your license to use
- this version expires 21 days after installation (although the
- program will continue to operate normally). During your trial, we
- encourage you to explore the many TAPCIS features and
- capabilities.
-
- If you like what you see, you can order TAPCIS toll free at 800-
- USA-GROUP (or 301-387-4500 outside the U.S.). You'll receive the
- printed documentation, current version on disk, and toll free
- support if you ever have trouble getting online. If you need
- support before registering, we offer help to all users through
- our TAPCIS Forum on CompuServe (GO CIS:TAPCIS). Leave a message
- to ALL with a description of your difficulty; we'll be happy to
- help.
-
- Some users find it easier to start with the printed manual and
- telephone support. We offer all our customers a 90-day money back
- guarantee, so there is NO RISK in registering right from the
- start. The $79 registration fee includes two-day shipping in the
- United States so you can get the program without delay (we ship
- within 24 hours). Orders outside the United States and Canada
- should add $15 for airmail delivery.

- FILES ON THIS DISK
-
- The file TAPTRY.EXE is a self extracting zip file. All the TAPCIS
- programs, support files, and documentation are contained in this
- single "program" that will magically transform itself into the
- separate files upon execution.
-
- For example, if you have TAPTRY.EXE in the current directory, you
- could type:
-
- TAPTRY C:\TAP
-
- and all the programs, scripts, and documentation files will end
- up in C:\TAP. If you do not specify a directory like C:\TAP, the
- files will extract into the current directory.
-
- Note that in expanded form, all these files require about 875K of
- disk space total with docs (so you cannot expand them onto a 360K
- 5.25" or 720K 3.5" floppy; a 1.2M or 1.4M floppy would work
- fine). The documentation files begin with TAPDOC.* or TAPFIGS.*
- and can be deleted after printing, or moved to a separate
- directory or disk. If necessary, you can contact us to receive a
- 3.5" disk that has the documentation and programs in separate
- files for extraction onto two different floppies. Or, if you have
- PKUNZIP you can view and extract the files from TAPTRY.EXE
- separately (use PKUNZIP -v TAPTRY.EXE to see the contents of the
- file).
-
- If you wish to extract the files directly from the distribution
- floppy, prefix the command with "A:" such as:
-
- A:TAPTRY C:\TAP
-
- Note: Replace "A" with the letter of the floppy drive you are
- using if different than A:.
-
- If you have questions that this file does not answer, please feel
- free to leave a public message to All in the TAPCIS Forum on
- CompuServe (GO CIS:TAPCIS).
-
- If you do not already have a CompuServe ID and need a
- complimentary CompuServe membership, contact us at the numbers
- above. We'll gladly send one to you.
